In this tiny article, I explain the benefits of using the Podia blog tool and what changes it brings to you in this "Backstage blog".

A bit of context

Podia has released a beta version of its blog feature. And I have to say, I'm pretty excited about it. Until now, Podia didn't have a proper blog feature. As I didn't want to mess with a Wordpress installation (I never liked how the Wordpress admin is overly complicated), I instead "hacked" another feature from Podia to create this blog until today.

What changes for you

1. New feature with RSS feed: you can subscribe to the blog by RSS

2. New design: this blog feature comes with a lot of possibilities for me to make the layout a bit more personal and more readable

3. New article footer: now, at the end of each article, you'll find both the possibility to get the blog articles in your inbox via the newsletter and, for those who don't know me yet, read a short bio

4. Shorter URLs: I can now choose the URL of the articles, so I can make them shorter for you

What changes for me

1. More fun: I have more design possibilities, which makes the creation of this blog more fun

2. More productive with scheduling: now, I have the possibility to schedule articles in the future; that's a welcome feature for my productivity as I could write blog articles in batches and release them over time.

3. More efficient: I don't have to write manually the date of the publication of the article

The paint is still fresh

Over the next days and weeks, I'll finish importing all the content from the previous blog "platform" to this one. The design and structure might also evolve further as I'm having fun with the different design possibilities.
