A short review of SiteGPT

Published in the Backstage Blog

In this article, I share what’s the best tool I have found so far to build my own AI ChatGPT specialized on Service Design.

I've tested a few tools that let you create your own "ChatGPT" that answers based on your content.

I have to say the one I prefer at the moment (outside of pricing) is SiteGPT. Here is why:

  • UI: It has a great UI both for the user and me as the person who has to set up the tool

  • Prompts: You can add prompts that change the way the chatbot answers (for example, I've asked it to make different paragraphs and put in bold stuff).

  • Branding: You can visually adapt it, you can change the colours, font size, etc. and therefore make it feel more natural to your context

  • Widget and link: It has both a widget and a link that you can share

  • Great human: The developer is super responsive, I wrote to him about an issue I had, and he was willing to do the manual work to help me out, and later came back saying he added a new feature to fix that issue. Pretty impressive.

This will evolve

I’ll continue to play with similar tools in the next weeks and months, so come back to the backstage blog to see how my opinion evolves over time.
