How do I track website changes on other community sites?

Part of my volunteer work for the Swiss Service Design Network is to ensure that events that are of interest for the Swiss Service Design community are added to the calendar of events. That's why the events of the Service Design Drinks Zürich or the CXPA Network Switzerland are posted there as soon as they come out.
But how do I know when new events come out?
For that I use a simple tool called Visualping.io. This tool basically looks at a website and notifies you when there is a significant change on it.
There are a few things I really like about this tool:
Free tier: There is a generous enough free plan for me, which many other similar tools don't offer.
Focus zone: You can create a sort of "focus zone" where the tool is looking for changes. If changes happen outside that zone you won't be notified. That's for example nice for website that might have ads on them that change everyday but you wanted to track other changes.
Email notification: It sends you an email notification when a big changes happens with a screenshot of the change and a link to the website.

I worked with clients from all over the world to help them find innovative solutions to their problem. I've been blessed to be able to learn a lot.
Today I want to share these learnings back with the community. That's why I've built the Swiss Innovation Academy.
