Become a community reviewer of my next Service Design book

Read the draft of the book Service Design Principles 201-300 before anyone else. Share your feedback and write a review to help others know if this book is for them.

You'll have to finish your review work by Friday 28th of October 2022, and it will take you approximately 4 hours to do.

A personal note from Daniele

Hey 👋
Thank you so much for considering to be part of the early reviewers of my next book.

I want to involve the community better around this book and the next ones.

So I thought that it would be more helpful for people to read reviews from other people like them who describe
  1. why this book is interesting to them,
  2. what sucks in it,
  3. and what other books do they recommend as companions :)

I'd love these reviews to be deeply honest and not feel like fake Amazon reviews. Therefore I think it's important also to show what sucks. Mainly it's important to me that people who will hate this book know it in advance before they buy it.

This book doesn't exist alone in the world of Service Design. Therefore I think it's essential that people can see what would be the next book to read after this one. The books you recommend don't have to be service design books, but books that would complement this one nicely.

I think with all that, people can make a better decision if this book is something really for them or if it's smarter for them to save the money and time they would invest on it on something else.

Thanks again for showing interest :)
Greetings from Switzerland 🧀

Template

What's the structure of the review?

The most important thing for me is that you write a review where you show:

  1. why this book is interesting to them,
  2. what sucks in it,
  3. and what other books do they recommend as companions :)
A form will help you do that in an easy way with little prompts.

Timing

How much time does it take to review the book?

I count about 4 hours of work to do the full review process.

The reading of the book takes about 2-3 hours. To write your review, you'll need about 30 minutes. Then if you have more feedbacks to share, that might take you a bit more time.

Length

How long should my review be?

That's up to you. It can be super short or quite long. Just write in a way that feels normal to you.

Deadline

What's the deadline?

You'll have to finish your review work by Friday 28th of October 2022.

This will then allow me to review your feedback, improve the book based on it, create the marketing page with your book review, and so many more things that need to happen before I can publish the book 🤯

Examples

How does a review look like?

Each review will be summarized and shown on the landing page of the book alongside your photo. Each review also has its own personal page where I add a link to your personal website of choice.
