I have four directions I see for my "last" book in the service design principles series. Which one are you more interested in? (details below)
A bit of context
I've promised myself I'll write at least 5 books on the topic of service design principles, that makes a total of 500 principles. In the next month I'll publish number 4, and after that it would be the last to keep my personal promise.
As I'm preparing my writing journey for this next book, I have four ways I could get going. But I'm curious to see what's more interesting to you personally. Here the possible votes:
Focus on sustainability + SD
Sustainability is a big theme I'd like to explore more in 2024. Here I'd like to explore how we can both: create a better experience for humans and make the world a better place.
Focus on service workers' tips
Here the idea would be to interview, not experts, not service designers, but front-line workers to find out what are their tips to create better experiences for humans. And why not have people from all around the world?
Focus on principles for my kid
There are lessons I try to teach to my kid which are basically the same that I try to teach to service design students. This last edition of the book, could in some way be a book that serves both my kid (and me as a parent in reflecting what I want to share) and the service design nerds.
Don't focus, do it as before
Why reinvent the wheel? Until now I haven't had really themes or focuses, but just gathered inspiration and then bundled it in a book.
So what do you think? Which option is the most interesting to you?
Obviously, if you could explain why in a reply, that would be even more helpful
