Maybe one round of voting isn't enough. Especially when you are working on complex problems and you need to take into account the budget, timing, and other technical elements.

In such cases you can do a multi parameter vote. Do it exactly the same as a dot voting process. But this you could have:
  • 5 blue stickers to vote for the idea that brings more impact for the organization
  • 5 red stickers to for the ideas that the participants personally prefers
  • 5 black stickers for the ideas that would create more joy  and satisfaction for the end users
  • etc.

Then here again, you can then re-sort your ideas from best to worst one.
