Positive news from elsewhere 

I’m an optimist and as there is so much bad news out there at the moment, I want at my scale to rebalance things by sharing also some positive news for service owners and creators. 

• ‘Global milestone’ as 10% of the ocean is protected: Nations have achieved “an important global milestone” for people and planet, with more than 10% of the ocean now officially protected. (via Positive News)

• Road deaths plummeted in the US: The number of people killed on US roads last year fell to the second lowest level on record, new data suggests. (via Positive News)

• The UK set a renewables record: For the second year running, the UK sourced most of its electricity from renewables in 2025. (via Positive News)
