How could a video story of a new service look like?
Last Thursday we had the second day of workshop with the learners from the Master Service Design of the HSLU, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
In one day, each learner had to: find a topic, research it, generate ideas of new services, select an idea to prototype, prototype it, test it and turn it into a video story that is shorter than 3 minutes.
A lot of work for one day!
To me the results of this day show once again that:
There are dozens of ways to tell the story of a service idea.
Some learners just used text, others created full voice over scripts, some even used AI generated voice overs and imagery, while others used pre-made animation templates.
In the end, when you tell the story of your service idea:
It's less about the visual way of selling the idea, but more about what you say.
And we can then all find the tools we're comfortable with to tell that story.
