How can I know when to quit something?

How can I know when to quit something?

In the podcast Deep Dive with Ali Abdaal and Steven Bartlett speaks of his quitting framework.

The main question to ask yourself

Once you're considering quitting, the one question to ask yourself is:

Is the difficulty and the effort worth the reward that you'll get in the end?

If the effort is worth it, then stick with it and don't quit. And if you realize that in the end, the result is too small, then it's more to quit or at least make a big change happen.
