Everything is almost possible
In short: Most things are possible with a bit of flexibility.
Finding Motivation
As someone who never did sports until the age of 30, I never imagined I'd get into an athletic shape one day. But one day, it became important to me. I wanted to be able to run alongside my son when he got older. With the right motivation and by exploring different ways to make it work for me, I found a few methods that clicked. And one day I was able to be in such an athletic shape.
Everything is possible to reach at 80%
Originally, I titled this note Everything is Possible, but that's didn't work out. Some things just aren't possible—like becoming a wolf.
Okay, sure biologically, it's a no-go. But maybe it's almost possible. By saying most things are almost possible, it shows that with some flexibility, even the weirdest goals can be within reach.
If I wanted to be a wolf, I'd ask myself what wolf-like characteristics I could adopt. Living outside? Possible. Being part of a tight-knit group? Possible. Eating only meat? Possible.
While I can't become a wolf, I can live almost like one.
You might not achieve everything exactly as you first think about it, but you can come very close—and that's already much more than doing nothing.
The Power of Flexibility
If your dream is to become a wolf and you realize it's biologically impossible, you might give up. But if you see that you could almost be a wolf, you can transform your life to be nearly wolf-like. If that's an important goal for you, you're much closer to achieving it.
Seeing the World of Possibilities
The key lesson here is not to fixate on achieving goals in an exact way but to be flexible and creative in how you approach them. If something is important to us, we should aim for 80% or 90% of the goal because that's still far better than zero.
So yes, almost everything is possible when you accept that it's nearly achievable.
