What's a good mix of expertise to have in a project?
In short: Benjamin Nanchen in his work mixes 4 lenses : usage, professional, academic and political. I go with three: people who live it, decision makers, experts (for all three I mix internal and external people).
My two cents
In the projects I run I like to have the following mix:
People who will live with the decison
Decision makers
Experts that can inspire: external, internal, topic related, finance, etc.
The order here fits also the amount of time is spent with each group. And I often start from the bottom of the list to create the framing for the work.
