Service Blueprints

Service Blueprints

What it is

A Service Blueprint shows what's the experience that a person has to go through in a service and what the organisation needs to do in order to make this experience happen.

For the nerds in here, it's basically a customer journey with an additional view of the backstage.

A Service Blueprint is a great tool to:

  • Summarize how a service works today and diagnostic where things could be improved

  • Imagine a new service and map out the complexity of all the things that are needed to make it happen
