Jörn Kohlschmidt

Why is this book interesting to you?

I can recommend this smart book to everyone who wants to learn how easy it is to make the world a bit more service friendly. First resume: it is not witchcraft 😉.

For who isn't this book for or what parts sucked?

For the next book in the series I would love to have a better overview of the single rules. It is definitely better than in the first version. But why not remind the reader before a new chapter begins to show the content. So i do not have to jump back to the first page. A playful scratch (summary) should be nice like a map, where you can see where you are.

If you are looking for the basics, tools and instrument of service design than you unfortunately knocked at the wrong door. It shows you which output/result service design can deliver.

What other books would you recommend as companion to this one?

A „tiny“ book, a classic,  I can recommand is „the design of everyday things“ from Donald A. Norman cause here you dig in a bit more in the real world of service design.
