Service Design is the next logical step if you want to create a great user experience for your services. User experience is the battlefield on which businesses wage and win the battle for customers. You have to take into consideration all the parts of the organization that are involved with the delivery of that service.

Service design involves designing a solution that creates synergy between the needs of the user, business and technology. Service design entails designing a language that guides organizations through transformations. Service design is concerned with designing a story that moves people. Service design involves designing a vision that drives innovation.
