Amy Ross
Why is this book interesting to you?
I particularly enjoyed the simplicity of this book. Daniele's observations take place in everyday encounters with services that can be easily improved by thinking of the user. There is brilliance in the simplicity. It's a book for designers and business owners and provides ideas on how to boost services and how to rethink how they came to be and how slight changes can change everything.
For who isn't this book for or what parts sucked?
If you are looking for a book about the systems or blueprints on conducting formal service design this book isn't that book.
What other books would you recommend as companion to this one?
If you are looking for a book that goes into detail in a different way on how to design services that function well and appeal to the user I would recommend Good Services by Lou Downe. If you are looking for a book on expanding your thinking on what you may not yet know I recommend Think Again by Adam Grant.
