Why is this book interesting to you?

This is an excellent handbook for any designer looking to 'humanise' a client's offering. Further, I love how it's bite-sized and easy for the said designer's clients to understand as well. Application wise, I'd compare the chapters in this book to those cards used in brainstorming sessions for triggering inspiration. 

For who isn't this book for or what parts sucked?

The teeny tiny criticism I have is that some bits seem obvious and while the examples are great, diverse instances from other parts of the world could offer interesting perspectives. 

What other books would you recommend as companion to this one?

For anyone studying service design or entering into the industry, I'd suggest pairing Daniel's book with a classic like This is Service Design Doing/Thinking to pair big and small ideas.
