Service Design Network
The first is the official and international Service Design Network
. This is the network that promotes service design worldwide. You can become a member of the network and get access to articles, case studies, magazines, and other resources.
Service Design Jam
If you want to get your hands dirty, you should definitely join a Service Design Jam
. These are events where you recieve a service design challenges and have 48 hours to come up with a solution. These events are similar to hackathons, but not for code nerds; instead, they are for people passionate about service design. These events happen in over 80 cities on 5 continents.
Practical Service Design
The last community that you could follow is called Practical Service Design
. This is a community of people who practice service design. You’ll find on the website a Slack chat group where members share many interesting tools, articles, and advice. It’s a great place to start if you need some help from the community.
