In this short article, I want to share in a video how much time it took to import 406 service design definitions in my new service design brain built on Intercom and what techniques I used to make this process faster.

Summary of the video

• I’m importing all service design content to a new platform with a better search feature and an AI answering bot: Intercom

• Intercom has a good knowledge base system and an AI feature for answering questions based on content in the knowledge base, but is missing a good import feature

• Using a bit of spreadsheet magic, HTML code and the app Pastebot I could make the import process faster.

• It took 3 hours and 45 minutes to import 406 definitions in intercom.

• Now people can search through these definitions and the AI will use them to answer service design questions.
