As it’s the tradition with any blog, the first article is here to explain what’s the general concept that will bring all the articles together.

This little blog will give you a behind the scenes look at what is needed to build online courses, books and workshops

To me keeping a log of what happens has a double value. 

Feel I’m making progress

First, and that is really selfish, it helps me see all the work I did and makes me feel happy and proud. The creation of courses and content is a long process. This means that it takes a shit load of time before you see the actual final result. By having little articles showing the behind the scenes I can feel that it’s going forward. I can feel I’m making progress.

Build with an open culture

I have been really inspired in the past by companies like buffer which have shared a lot of information about how they work, how their finances go, etc. These articles gave me a lot of knowledge but also the motivation to start my own little side project. I hope that by doing the same, I’ll give back to the community what the community has given me. And maybe it will inspire someone else to see that it’s not so difficult to start your own little thing.

Okay. That’s it for this first little article explaining where this blog goes. Surely this will change in the future. But at least you know with which spirit I’m starting it.
